The son of an eye surgeon and dentist, Dr. Benjamin Paul experienced an early exposure to excellent medical care and detailed surgery. While still in high school, Dr. Benjamin Paul was a semifinalist in the Intel Science Talent Search (formerly Westinghouse Science Talent Search) for his investigation of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD, ADHD) and eye muscle weakness. Dr. Benjamin Paul left the east coast for the Midwest where he graduated from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern.
